DEDICATION

Amazing CatechistsTM is dedicated to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. We also dedicate ourselves to Mary's Fiat, her "yes" to God at the moment of the Annunciation and in every moment of her life. For it is when we cling to Jesus and yield to the will of the Father, that we are made instruments of His Divine Plan and become the people we were made to be. [Special thanks to John Collier for permission to display his painting, The Annunciation, at left]

"The `fiat' of the Mother of the Lord is the most humble thing that the maiden can say or accomplish . . . Since she binds herself entirely to God, she becomes entirely free in God . . . She is infinitely at the disposal of the Infinite. She is absolutely ready for everything, for a great deal more, therefore, than she can know, imagine or begin to suspect. Coming from God, this yes is the highest grace; but, coming from us, it is also the highest achievement made possible by grace: unconditional, definitive self-surrender. It is at once faith, hope and love. It is also the original vow, out of which arises every form of definitive Christian commitment to God and in God. It is the synthesis of love and obedience" - from "A First Glance at Adrienne von Speyr" by Hans urs von Balthasar, Ignatius Press (415-387-2324) or order directly from Amazon.

We also place ourselves and our work under the protection of St. Michael the Archangel, St. Thérèse of Lisieux and Sister Marie de Mandat-Grancey

St. Michael

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou O Prince of the heavenly host by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

St. Thérèse of Lisieux

"Let us go forward in peace, our eyes upon heaven, the only one goal of our labors."

Sister Marie de Mandat-Grancey

Sr. Marie De Mandat-Grancey
1837 - 1915

We Thank God
For Giving us the privilege of
Sister Marie De Mandat-Grancey.

Through her great generosity
She acquired the property at Ephesus,
The Home of Mary and St. John the Evangelist.

We ask God and Sr. Marie
To continue to Bless the cornerstone
Giver to her.  "Around this Cornerstone
We build our faith and the powers of
Darkness will not prevail."

We pray for God's will to be
Completely fulfilled through the
Intercession of Sr. Marie.
Amen
